Moonshadow is changing its format from CSA to a Family Farm
Why We Are Doing This?

We operated Moonshadow Farm as a CSA (Community Supported
Agriculture) farm for seven years, offering produce and farm experiences to
families. We felt it was important
for people, and especially children, to understand the connections between farm
and table. We believed, and still
believe, that local food production is both valuable and imperative. But farming requires hard physical
labor, and arthritic joints demand that we change the focus of Moonshadow Farm.

Rather than growing food, we are concentrating on growing
community. Our hope is that by
bringing people together regularly on this beautiful piece of land, powerful
connections will be built. Person
to person, person to earth, person to soul, person to hope, even person to
chicken. It is a fast-paced, loud,
materialistic, and sometimes soul-searing world out there. Moonshadow is a time-out.
